Representatives of the Azerbaijani community living in Europe commemorated the victims of Khojaly in Belgium .

On the eve of the 30th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, a meeting was held at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Belgium with representatives of the Azerbaijani community living in Europe. The meeting was attended by employees of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Belgium, NATO Mission and other compatriots. 

The event commemorated the victims of the Khojaly genocide and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and territorial integrity of the Motherland with a minute of silence.

Speaking at the meeting, Ambassador Vagif Sadigov spoke about the terrible consequences of the Khojaly genocide, the genocide committed against innocent people as a bloody crime against humanity, the activities of the embassy, the relations between Belgium and Azerbaijan, the activities of the Azerbaijani community in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Then, representatives of the Azerbaijani community living in Europe spoke about their activities in the countries where they live, the difficulties faced by the community and future plans.
